I offer two types of CV writing services – either a re-write of your existing CV or writing a new CV from scratch.

If you already have a CV ready and are unsure which option to choose, then please feel free to email me (attaching the CV as a (.)pdf document) and I can advice you about which option to choose, with no obligation.

What help can you offer with CVs?

I can help you write a new CV from scratch, or help to rework your exiting CV so it is more appealing to your potential employers.

A new CV will include:

  • your contact details ,
  • a short personal statement (if needed)
  • educational qualifications, work experience
  • key skills (tailored to the job)
  • volunteer experience (and key skills gained)
  • publications,
  • help with choosing the correct referees for your application.

Typical turnaround times for new CVs are 3 working days (72 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays).

A CV re-write will include:

  • Sentence organisation
  • grammar and spelling correction
  • proof-reading
  • suggestions for additional items that could be included in your CV
  • advice on CV layout.

Job applications can be quiet daunting, especially if you are new to the job market. I can help you with a personalised job application, tailored to the job and your skill set. I can also help you write speculative job applications (i.e. enquiring for a job with a potential employer).
