PAYMENT FOR TUTORING
A LEVEL: £40 per hour
UNIVERISTY: £40 per hour
GCSE: £35 per hour
Discounts available it student books 3 h or more per week for the academic term.
HOW TO PAY
All payments are made by online bank transfer (BACS).
All payments are made in advance of the lesson.
For one-off bookings, payment must clear 48 h before lesson start time.
For students who commit to tutoring for the entire year, payment is made by monthly bank transfer. The total cost for the year (usually between 34-35 lessons, if booking 1 h a week) is divided into equal payments (9 payments, if starting in September). This is paid by online bank transfer no later than the 25th of each preceding month. Lesson costs are calculated pro-rata.
MAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Once lessons are paid for, they cannot be refunded, but they can be rescheduled.
- All rescheduled lessons must be used by 31 May.
- A 48 h notice period is required to reschedule or cancel a lesson.
- All lessons must be paid for in advance.
- Monthly payment must be made by the 25 of each month.
- It is the student’s responsibility to log in to the lesson on time. If the student fails to log in at the allocated time, the lesson will be treated as a cancellation, and charged the full cancellation fee.
- Only 4 lessons can be rescheduled in an academic year. Any further rescheduling will incur the full lesson fee.
- I reserve the right to terminate lessons if a student repeatedly cancels or misses lessons.
You will receive a detailed copy of the Terms & Conditions once we have agreed to go ahead with tutoring sessions.

Personal statement, from scratch (4000 characters) = £50
Turn around time = 7 working days. You will be asked to fill in a Q&A.
Personal statement, correction of draft = £30 for one round of corrections
Turn around time = 4 working days.
This includes checking the draft for spelling, grammar, sentence structure, flow & links between paragraphs, and includes suggestions on how to make your statement stand out above the others.
Curriculum Vitae (CV) writing, from scratch = £40
Turn around time = 7 working days. You will be asked to fill in a Q&A.
Curriculum Vitae, correction of draft = £25 for one round of corrections
Turn around time = 4 working days.
